Take one part cleverly crafted song lyrics, add a generous helping of infectious melodies, blend with lavish amounts of rock, pop and rockabilly influences and you have the unique, country rock style of emerging country music artist, Kylie Ryan.

Hailing from the northern NSW town of Inverell and now based in Sydney, it's been quite literally a long, winding road in the journey for the songstress who counts Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert and Shania Twain as some of her biggest influences. An avid writer, be it books, poems or songs, Kylie draws inspiration from a wide range of genres from the "hair band" rock bands of the 80's and 90's through to today's "Nashville Sound" and everything in between. " A great song is a great song in any genre from any era."

Kylie is a self-confessed late starter in the industry, having become a mum quite young, but refers to fine Tennessee whiskey and it being stilled to perfection before it is consumed, and one can't help but agree.

With a background in music retail, theory, songwriting and cover bands, 2017 saw her debut on the country music scene and she has quickly gained attention, positive reviews and high rotation airplay on country and community radio stations across the country with "Got Me In" cracking the Top 40 Country Tracks Chart.

In her debut year Kylie achieved Top 10 finalist placing in the ASAI Songwriting Awards Country category with "Slow Me Down" and was nominated for the prestigious Rudy Bradsma Award for Songwriting Excellence.

Her friendly, girl next door disposition, coupled with her confident, high energy, charismatic stage presence ensures Kylie is an emerging country artist to watch!

found out there weren't too many limitations, if I did it my way...
